KARACHI – Pakistani Film director ‘Nabeel Qureshi’, TV actors Hira Mani, Gul-e-Rana & others were attacked by mob during a shoot for an upcoming project in Karachi on Monday(Feb-06).

Director Nabeel has shared details of the horrific incident on his social media, claiming that the mob harassed actors & crew members & stole mobile phones & other equipment.

In a series of tweets, “The Load Wedding” director Nabeel claimed that the attackers were “equipped with weapons”. The incident occurred in PIB Colony area of the port city. He requested the authorities to take strict action against the perpetrators to make an example out of the incident, & ensure the future safety of the artistes’ fraternity in Pakistan.

Responding to Actor Mahira Khan’s tweet, Karachi Police’s Twitter page wrote, “Karachi Police immediately responded, FIR Registered, 6 already arrested.”

Along with other actors, ‘Hira Mani’ also took to her Instagram stories & that it was a very unfortunate event to witness. Hira hoped that no one face such thing ever in their life.Hira Mani requested her fans to pray for the crew’s recovery.
