A messaging app owned by Meta, WhatsApp, plans to soon add a way for desktop users to lock their screens.
It will bring an additional layer of security to WhatsApp & protect unauthorized access
Recently, WhatsApp added some new amazing features to make things easier & smoother for its web whatsapp users.
Android users could already use this new way to lock their screens to protect their data. For desktop users, the most important thing was that the messaging app was safe, since logging into WhatsApp on the web can be dangerous.
To solve this problem, WhatsApp planned to add a new way to lock the screen. It will initially be available for testing only to WhatsApp beta users.
The messaging giant probably won’t add the feature to desktop users’ default settings. The user will be able to choose from the options for settings.
Earlier, WhatsApp, a big name in messaging, made changes to its “Directory” feature to make it easier for its users to shop in-app.
